Mentoring

At WiMSA, we believe that mentorship is a continuous journey, not just something to be celebrated on International Mentoring Day, but every day.

 

Our chairperson, Raksha Naidoo, emphasises the importance of mentorship, stating, "I am who I am, and where I am, thanks to incredible mentors. And I believe passionately in paying that forward to others." Mentorship is about helping others and developing the next generation of leaders to ensure a successful and sustainable industry.

 

Throughout the year, WiMSA will host various online and in-person events to support mentoring. Additionally, the topic of mentoring will be a key focus at the Annual WiMSA Symposium held on 23 and 24 July 2025.
